    Nepomuk Control

How does Nepomuk work and how is it controlled?

I just updated some ID3 tags on files and I don't think nepomuk knows. Is there a way to refresh it? If so with out rescanning the entire system?

    Re: Nepomuk Control

One way with the Kubuntu 9.10 / KDE 4.3 (1) is to use the Bangarang edit option (> Topic: Media Players)

As the Bangarang is using the Nepomuk to store the data it is updating both the ID tags and the Nepomuk database.

Note - Nepomuk's "Description" is not same as the ID tags "Comment".

    (1) The KDE 4.4 (or the KDE 4.5) may have more tools to edit the Nepomuk database.
    Before you edit, BACKUP !
