    no audio please help me

    I was using Ubuntu since a month back. it had a gud sound.
    I installed Kubuntu desktop.
    Now there is no sound in Kubuntu but i have sound in Ubuntu.
    My laptop is Dell inspiron 1545.
    help me please...

      Check your volumes; PulseAudio likes to mute them and impose its own volume channels. So pop up kmix and make sure nothing is muted or at 0%.
