    Job notifications [SOLVED]

    Hi, does anyone know how to stop getting that pop-up box showing job notifications? I do a lot of editing on remote servers and every time I save a file it pops up and I find it irritating.

    check System Settings -> Notifications.

    from there you can change just about every programs notifications each notification has an option to "Mark taskbar entry" just disable that for the ones you dont want.

      Thanks, if anyone else has this problem I went into the System Settings -> Notifications-> KDE System Notifications-> Notification menu and unchecked 'Show a message in a pop-up'.

        I took off the solved status because now it's doing it again. If it helps I am using kwrite to edit files on a server and whenever I open or save them the notification pops up and says 1 job finished etc.

            Right-click an empty area in the System Tray and select System Tray Settings and uncheck File transfers and other jobs.
