    Karmic 64bit shutdown does nothing

    Hi all,

I have found this problem only a few days ago. Normaly I dont shut my pc down, but I wanted a clean start again after a few moths only to find that Shutdown, reboot does nothing.

If I do a "shutdown -p now" it works.

Can some one shed some light on this small problem?

    Thanx

Do you have an ATI Card? It does it with my ATI card but doesn't with the nVidia (onboard if I enable it). Would like to know myself why it does that.
