KDE 4.4 Upgrade problem

I upgraded to KDE 4.4 on my Laptop Kubuntu 9.10.

Now my desktop not loading, actually its loading but without any plasma widgets panels and other applications.

First check that package plasma-desktop is installed, report back if it's installed (or installing it won't solve the problem)
