Removed menu entries still appear in the search?...
Removed menu entries still appear in the search?...
Why is it that even after I remove a menu entry the removed entry still shows up when I type in the menu search bar?... How do I go about correcting this?
Re: Removed menu entries still appear in the search?...
I find that the search tool there also looks at documents as well as all apps in your $PATH (such as /bin). Enter 'xterm' for example, and it does show up even though there is no menu entry for it anywhere. I don't see a way to change this.
Re: Removed menu entries still appear in the search?...
Is this a problem with 9.10 or with KDE 4.4? I'm running 9.04 w/KDE 4.3.2 and this behavior is not present. When I delete a K menu entry, it does not show in a K search.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.
