Hi everybody, i'm new to Kubuntu though i've used Ubuntu before a little with my macbook but never went too deep.
my problem is that the sound quality is bad. i've gone to the mixer and enabled the channels "Speaker" and "Speaker 2" and have gotten more volume but quality is still bad. Also i get no sound at all when plugging in headphones.
so far i can't find another post dealing with this. if anybody knows how to improve the quality of the sound please comment.
Just an aside, i've also gotten other issues such as the ballistic pointer, how it is very difficult to do a "right-click" with 2 fingers on the trackpad (which is also very sensitive). i don't mind these much but if i can't get the sound i might as well return to Mac OSX.
