[SOLVED] konqueror: disable automatic google sarch for unknown URLs ?

Is there a way to disable the automatic google sarch for unknown URLs in konqueror ?
What I mean by this is that konqueror automatically sarts a search using the primary search engine if you enter an URL it can not use.
I don't want that. If I wanted to search, I would have used the search field next to the address field.
I looked at the konqueror settings, but I could not find anything.

My favorite saying for situations like this:
It's only a feature if you can turn it off. Otherwise, it's a bug.

I agree 100%, just been searching for such a setting myself, unfortunately - no joy.

Right-click the 'Search field' to the right of the URL field and click on Select Search Engines... and un-check Enable Web shortcuts
