[Solved]FireFox won't start....

If I try launching firefox it tries to load but then it never shows.

If I use a konsole to launch firefox it will give an error saying...

Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9.1 and 1.9.1.*.

This happened after sum ulern runner thingy update from kpackagekit

Bizarre indeed. I googled your message and no joy. Alternatives:

Rename your ~/.mozilla and try again. You got any funny tunnelling going on (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generic..._Encapsulation)?

have you checked in your running app if it is running ie hit ctrl and esc and see if it there and if so it needs killing

-I tried renaming the folder but that did not affect anything

So I just uninstalled firefox and re-installed it.... woohoo it works.
