I have read discussion (http://ubuntu-rescue-remix.org/node/197) about grub configuration to boot directly an ISO image from mmc cardreader, there was an acer aspire one hw, but the same is in my acer aspire 5720...
In short, there is config to boot just from an ISO image, placed in mmc storage card. bios does not see it as a drive, while grub, running from main storage, can see.
People say that it works.
It looks strangely, but at the moment I can not set it up correctly, may be due to a lack of appropriate grub module in /boot/grub, kubuntu I have got is plain karmic 9.10, stable updates, previous versions (alpha and beta) were working with this config, supporting mmc visibility under grub.
Is there a solution to successfully boot from mmc or any useful info about mmc capable grub modules?
Thanks for help!
