Widget not listed in 'Add Widgets'

Whenever I install a widget from 'Download new plasma widgets', they get installed but are not listed in 'add widgets'.
If I check later on then also, the Download dialog box shows the widget as installed.
how to display the widget in 'add widgets' and on the desktop

Re: Widget not listed in 'Add Widgets'

    Running Kubuntu Jaunty 9.04 w/KDE 4.3.2:

When you opt to "Install New Widgets > Download New Plasma Widgets" they are downloaded to /var/tmp/kdecache-youruser

All you have to do, once you've so downloaded a new widget, is to close the Download and Add New widgets window and then reopen Add New Widgets. The newly downloaded widgets will be in the list - I just tried it. Works.

No I have tried closing and reopening the 'Add Widgets' dialog but then also the widget is not listed.
But the Download new widget window shows the widget as installed.

How things are working (at here)

Add widgets > Install New Widgets > Download New Plasma Widgets > Get Hot New Stuff (plasma_wyweather) > Install

The plasma widget is downloaded to the /tmp/kde-<USER_NAME_HERE>

Installation will install files to the:
        Directory: ~/.kde/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/<widget>
        .desktop file: ~/.kde/share/kde4/services/<widget>.desktop

        With the plasma_wyweather:
        Code:
        ls -l /tmp/kde-rog
        -rw-r--r-- 1 rog rog 208484 2009-12-08 21:22 110137-plasma_pyweather.plasmoid
        Code:
        ls -l ~/.kde/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/
        drwxr-xr-x 3 rog rog 4096 2009-12-08 21:22 plasma_pyweather
        Code:
        ls -l ~/.kde/share/kde4/services/
        -rw-r--r-- 1 rog rog 567 2009-12-08 21:22 plasma-applet-plasma_pyweather.desktop

What plasmoid(s) are you trying to install ?

        What are in the:
        /tmp/kde-<USER_NAME_HERE>
        ~/.kde/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/<widget>
        ~/.kde/share/kde4/services/<widget>.desktop
        Before you edit, BACKUP !

i know exactly what you mean, it apperars to be a problem with the way the item is packaged, for example if you use Get new stuff to get the "inUtileBar" (order by most downloads) you can install it but it will NEVER show in the list. the file it self is a .skz (superkaramba widget) and is supported by plasma if you were to manually install it via install widget -> from local file -> superkaramba widget
