Hi guys, I've noticed this since the new kaffeine/vlc for KDE4. I remember I could play .wmv videos and quickly jump to the positions I wanted, or jump forward/backwards smoothly.
Now VLC is too slow jumping so I cannot skim through a video quickly. In the case of Kaffeine it's even worse 'cause it will jump almost a random amount of minutes without any consistency when using "jump forward".
The only one which works good is Mplayer, but I don't quite like its interface...
What has happened? I haven't seen any bug filed about this. Is it just some kind of misconfiguration from my part?
