Different panels for different virtual desktops/ plasma workspaces?

I currently have 4 virtual desktops, set up through the plasma zoom out/ zoom in thing as different workspaces (so that they have different widgets and different wallpapers).

Question is, can i change the panel at the bottom of the screen as well, so that it has different applets/ quicklaunchers, different dimensions etc on each different workspace/ virtual desktop.

    Thanks in advance

Different topic, doesn't even mention panels.

Right-click in the space/area just to the left of the Pagers until you see Task Manager Settings (and of course, select that). Under Filters check the Only show tasks from the current desktop

This thread seems to suggest that it is not currently possible

Yes it certainly looks like it, from my own web/forum searches and experimenting as well. It seems a shame though, as it is pretty central to the whole 'activities' concept imo.
