    [SOLVED]corrupted system file (repository cache)

the file '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-wine-ppa-karmic.list' reads like this
    Code:
    deb [url]http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu[/url] karmic main
    n
that n is preventing any program from accessing the repositories. how do i edit out that n. the file is own by root
