Hi i have just installed notebook remix from 9.04 and i have a problem when open 2 windows at once. The 1st window disappears and cant get it back if i reboot all the windows appear any ideas plz. Also what is the big bar at the top with the arrows at each end not the task bar at very top?

This is experimental, you really should be ruinning the latest (Karmic). That big bar is like the KMenu (the plasma netbook shell version of the main menu). It is similar to the one in other netbook interfaces, like Clutter. When you open more than a window, you can switch between them using a widget that is located at the upper left (in the panel). But you need desktop effects active for that to work.
The first really polished netbook remix will be released in Kubuntu lucid (April 2010).
