well i read today on tpb's blog that the trackers are going to stay down as
DHT(DHT myths dispelled in a torrentfreak article) is where torrents are headed.
currently KTorrent has magnet on their TODO list as can be seen
here on bugs.kde.org
there are KTorrent forum posts on how to share trackerless torrents however.
KTorrent forums site admin George answers that magnet links will be supported in 4.0
