Modified files are not updated in Dolphin windows

Has anyone else had this problem since Karmic?

I have to hit the F5 button every time I modify or add a file in a dirctory or the thumbnail will not be created/updated.

Is there a setting in Dolphin or in KDE to change this, or is it a bug?

      Thanks for you reply!

Well, if it happens to others, then it's not paranoia!

For a while there, I thought Kubuntu had me specifically targeted, because it hates me and wants to make my life harder. :-D

Now I know it hates everyone! Ha ha!

Have you ever noticed a smoker reach for his pack to light up another while most of his last sig is still smouldering in the ash tray?

I've hit F5 to refresh Dolphin (and Konq when I was using it, and Windows Explorer when I ran Windows) for so long, out of habit, it never occured to me that having to do that could be a bug. Thanks for the heads up!
