KsCD stops with USB pendrive

Hey guys,

I screened the forum but didn't find a similar post.

I have Karmic Koala Kubuntu and KsCD which works quite well. Only one disturbing issue: When a audio CD is playing and I insert a USB pendrive, suddenly the CD stops playing and KsCD behaves like a click on the "stop button". Any idea?

I am thinking maybe (maybe) the device is automounted by a service like hal, and then when something is insterted hal polls all the ports, refreshes the device list and somehow interrupts playback

If that's the case, it seems like a bug. A workaround could be to add the device to /etc/fstab, but this is a bit of major surgery ...

Major surgery? Oops, well, I'm a Linux newbie... I think I will go on with my search, including the "hal". Thanks for the hint!

Well, I would like to add the label but - in fact - it is solved? I'm not sure about the definition of this word. And probably there is nothing in between, so, okay, I will declare it as solved.
