no update manager?

im not sure if update manager is the correct term! but since i have installed 9.10 i have had no little updater thingy!!! in my system tray. i do regularily update and 'safe-upgrade' from thecommand line any way, so its not the end of the world, but...............whats going on!

the green gear your used to seeing isent thare eney more.

your update notification's now come in the the notifications and jobs widget (the i in the sysem tray) when it notifies you the window onley pops up for a few seconds and then it's just a little 1 on the icon......verey hard to see.

thanks vinny, but its really not there I have just read and posted on the longer thread on this exact problem!!
on a side note why have they changed it to some thing thats really hard to see! Seems a bit silly!

well thats progress for ya.

as I'm shure you notesed in that loooong thred you just posted in it can take some time to show the updates but (for me) it dose work.

I just got notified aboyt 37 bug fixes about 2 howers ago!!
