    system settings, missing "back/overview" button

    been running karmic for a few weeks, and i noticed yesterday that when i click on system settings, there is no toolbar under the window decorations,just the baisc/advanced tabs, when i click on an option (idk apperance is a good one). i get no back button either. ive looked and don't see a setting to hide that area (its the spot where you can set view settings for systemsettings and a help button too i think)
    also tried using alt+m (incase it was a hidden menu)
    any ideas ? if nessessary i can post a Screen shot when i get back to that machine

      Not in Karmic - Jaunty - but in the upper-left there is a blue arrow (Overview) that when clicked 'takes you back' to the previous screen. Is this not what you are looking for?

        if you look at my attached shots you can see that area is clearly missing.

              style = oxygen
              color = green-grey (got it via get new)
              window theme = oxygen

                Re: system settings, missing "back/overview" button

                So, if you set the Theme back to the default, then do you have the button? If 'yes,' then it's a problem with the Theme you downloaded/installed.

                      changed it to default color scheme. no change it does not seam to matter what widget set or color scheme i use the issue remains.
