Dragon player fails to display with multiple monitors

If I have a second monitor connected which has a different resolution than my primary, eg primary 1280x800 secondary 1024x768 I loose any display in Dragon player though I can still hear the sound. I suffer a similar problem with VLC however on selecting X11 as the default display property on VLC everything then runs ok regardless of monitors connected or their resolution.

Has anyone else hit this problem with Dragon player please and if so have you found a solution ... I couldn't find a default X11 type option like the one in VLC.

    Oh intel graphics card BTW

    Thanks

I cant help but I also have this problem! I was trying to show a friend how good lnux is, and he plugged it into his huge flatscreen tv, and the video, dragon and vlc were black on the screen but the sound worked!

      Hi Katoiam

With VLC if you go into setup, select video then look for the default output option ... I need to set X11 rather than default or auto, then everything works fine.

nice to know I am not doing something silly with dragon player.

      cheers
