    [SOLVED] KVpnc certificate config problem

    Hey all!

I was using Cisco VPN Client in Win before I migrated to Kubuntu 9.10 64 bit. There are problems with configuring Cisco VPN on 64 bit Linux so I tried with KVpnc. I have a certificate and host address so by configuring a profile in KVpnc I select Cisco (proprietary) type -> Import or configure manually: Enter data manually -> Authentication method: Certificate -> then I set to the File name field the proper path, enter import password and fill password for certificate protection and when I press ok, I gor the error:"Unable to start process (cisco_cert_mgr)."

    Kernel I have: 2.6.31-14-generic
    KVpnc version: 0.9.3

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for any hints.

    Greetings.

    Re: KVpnc certificate config problem

Okay I somehow managed to install Cisco VPN Client on my 64 bit Karmic. I figured out that a component from the Cisco VPN Client called "cisco_cert_mgr" must be started because KVpnc uses it to work with the certificate storage.
