k3b locks system at about 20% completion

Well, I gotta say this release is the biggest pain ever. I've fought this thing for 3 days now. First just getting the network going was a nightmare, then k9copy was bombing. Now that's taken care of, k3b locks up the system after creating about 20% of the image.

Any ideas why k3b would just lock the entire system? I'm about to toss the whole mess out the door

Eh, I just realized I don't need K3B. I was using k9copy to do the copy, and k3b to do the burn. I just unchecked "burn image with k3b" and let k9copy do the burn as well. Saves 20 or so minutes for k3b to create the image too!
