    Title bar refreshes late

    Hi all. I'm having a weird problem with Karmic here... sometimes the title bar takes a while to refresh and the letters get kind of screwed up.

    It didn't happen in 9.04 and I don't know how to reproduce it since it happens quite randomly. There's another post about title bars in the forum but it wasn't quite the same issue.

    Verify that it isn't associated with Desktop Effects by turning them off. If the problem goes away, turn them back on. If then, the problem returns, then it is likely a graphics card/chip issue.
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      Weird as it seems, turning Desktop Effects off and on again seems to have removed the problem. I've been using the computer for the whole day and so far it hasn't happened again.

        So the problem seemed to be gone for a while, but it's still there. This was a known bug and at KDE they say they've solved it already, though it might've not got into the ubuntu repositories yet.
