    Openoffice-Word Status Bar missing text

    Greetings,

    My Karmic Kubuntu is a fresh installed one.
    ATI Mobility 4330 with fglrx

    I cannot see any text (Language, Insert/Overwrite mode) on my openoffice Word status bar, unless I right click the corresponding place on the status bar.

    Can anyone double check this problem/bug?

    Yes, I can also see rendering artefacts in OOo status line. Sometimes only parts of its text appear or others go invisible, sometimes it goes completely blank.

    ATI Radeon HD 4850 with open source radeon driver, fresh 9.10 install.

      confirmed on nvidia gt9800 amd 64
