When I hit play, nothing happens. Not even an error message. The same files play fine using vlc and dragon. Anyone got any ideas?

Tried a few more music players (rhythmbox, decibel, quod libet) and none of seem to be able to even open audio files, let alone play them. -

Hey!
When I opened Amarok for the first time and tried to play some internet radio, a popup came up. It was saying that I shall install some aditions - codecs and so on. Before I actually did this I couldn't play any audio on the system. After that, everything works as it should.
