"pre released" "unsupported" is this safe to mark in synaptic?

    i have a clean install of 9.10 w/kde 4.3.2..
is the topic title safe to do?

they arent marked now, and havent been since i've installed..
    just wanted to make sure....

I marked'em both and like 12 upgrades came up, I unmarked them then reloaded.. was kinda leary on doing this...
is this something I should do..?? just wondering

and btw, is the new upgrade to 4.3.3. stable(if so how do i get it, if it fixes glitches, bugs, etc)

    thanks in advance

"unsupported" is usually safe, this means "backport", i.e. softwares backported from future ubuntu versions, for 9.10, the "backport" means software from 10.04 or above versions.

for "pre released" I dunno. usually you don't need them.

Visit the homepage of whatever pre release package you are considering and read what changes are being made. Unless there is a new feature added that you particularly need, it is safer to stay with the currently released version.
