    KDE4 based Audio/Video converter?

    Kden can't convert to MP3 audio apparently so.....

    you should look in to avidemux. that will let you convert/edit and to some extent create video.really it just depends on what your trying to do there are quite a few a/v converters.

              well that one i have never done but correct me if i am wrong but Flv is a video format and you just want it audio part?
              either way you can use vlc to convert it to mpeg format(right to mp3 if just audio), that avidemux will then allow you to strip the audio off of.

                Yea FLV = Flash Video, and I only want the audio part. Is there a guide for using VLC to convert? I never could be arsed to figure it out

                  I'm not sure why you don't want a GTK app... You can run GTK apps on KDE.

                      Anyway it doesn't matter now. I just made an MP3 profile in Kden and now I just convert with that.
