I had this same thing happen upon upgrade to Karmic!

in my situation it was 1 device .....a capture device I think??

eneyway what I did was look at all my listed devices when clicking the manage devices buton in your screeney and what was listed in Kmix under configure chanels what I notesed was (in my case) that the devices that ar giving the error are duplicet's of the real device .....see the rev-1 in the name of it!

so I just checked to see if thar is a device listed that maches the name withought the rev-1 and if ther is (and thar was for me) just go a head and let it forget the duplacets

Yeahhhhhhhhh ok. But I did a clean install because upgrading always breaks sh*t

That stupid list thing has only come up that one time in the screenie, and sound is still working sweetly so I guess it was just another glitch or something.
