    fastest way to get dbg packages for installed apps only

    i like to have all my dbg packages installed (mainly for bug reports if i get ne crashes). what is the fastest way to install these packages for the programs i have installed. ?

    For the KDE:

    Search packages (with the Synaptic) that has kde either in the description or name and click those kde****-dbg packages.


    Package naming example for the KDE the debugging symbols:

    The kate is build from the kdesdk (KDE Software Development Kit) -> the debugging symbols for the kate are in the kdesdk-dbg.
    Before you edit, BACKUP !
