I cant get k3b to burn audio

Both m4a and mp3 files add fine to the project, but when I hit burn, the dialogue just shows "determining write speed" forever.

k3b extracodes package is installed.

Data burns fine.

Can anyone else confirm this?

I have tried to use it on 2 different computers running karmic and I get the same results.

EEE-box w / intel atom and external burner
Acer aspire w amd athlon and internal burner

Brasero does create audio cd from same project files so it is not a hardware issue.

This was working a while ago, maybe around Alpha 3.

I dident have eney m4a's to check but with just mp3's k3b did fine hear.
burning an audio cd that plays in the stareo........mine dosent do mp3 disks :P

Funny, using the pull down and selecting a speed (taking it off of "auto") solved the issue of getting it to start.

"Auto" setting is not working on either computer. It just hangs.

It then burnt the first mp3 file, then hung on the next one that was an m4a.

Again, Brasero had no issue burning these two kinds of files in the same project and K3b used to.

Aaaa that mite be why I never had it happen .......I allwase pull down the speed on a burn.

unfortunetley I used my last cd-r to test the audio burn...........and will half to wate to try agin with auto and see what hapens

It is kind of sort of fixed for me fro mp3's. I also wasted a cd so I will just use Brasero until karmic is officially released. I can't keep trashing cds to put them in a landfill trying to figure it out.

I almost never make audio cd's anyway. Was making one for a friend when I notice this.
