Make a tour of Kubuntu like in Windows XP?

This would be targeted for people who are not that technical.

Remember in Windows XP, you had the tour when you first installed it? Something similar to that would be great for Kubuntu to help out new users. If you can have it automatically launch on the first boot. This would help a lot of people. If you can have it go over basic stuff like adding repositories, updating to the newest versions, and some common Q&A.

    Thank You,

Or a site with a bunch of links to subject-relevant media.

But then, how many have ever watched that video their car came with?
I know I didn't. I guess that's why it would be a good idea to automatically play it on first boot.

I would second the motion for an interactive kde tour. Learning by doing is far superior to reading man pages or watching videos, especially for people with little or no computer experience. I am trying to get my mother to move from her mailstation box to a basic kubuntu system, and explaining things like mouse buttons, "pointing to", etc is frustrating for both of us. A learn by doing tutorial would be much more helpful.
