This is not really a Kubuntu topic per se, but you cannot blame me to take a chance in asking... ;-)
Have been reading extensively on the topic and it seems that there is still a bug out on the list with no real indication whether it has been solved and several others seem to have had no luck to get this combination to work at installation time. Just when good ol'Grub and the alternate disk installation seemed to start working correctly for a dmraid fakeraid installation without needing to be a contortionist installer with lots of manual intervention (did this during the last two upgrades to II and then JJ and it was not fun) it seems we are back to square one in trying to get a smooth installation for this particular combination in KK.
My real question is, has someone here tried this combination and succeeded in making it work? I freely admit to be a spineless coward in not having the courage to try the beta version on my box for this combination.
