Just checking to see if others are having the same experience.
I love the idea of the OpenOffice KDE integration, but - at least as everything appears on my system - it is too flawed for me at the moment. The OpenOffice. org site states 'The goal is to provide tight (but optional) integration of the OpenOffice.org to the KDE environment...', but I cannot find a mechanism to turn off the integration.
I find...
Buttons/Descriptions missing in open/save dialogs
Unable to specify a filter (e.g. for opening CSV, or other delimited types) for proper opening with Calc
There are probably more issues that don't come to mind at the moment, but the bottom line is using OO in its integrated form is too painful for me. I just downloaded the 3.1.1 DEB file from OpenOffice.org, and unless someone can convince me otherwise, I'm deinstalling the existing installation and reinstalling from the DEB.
