Backgroud options missing

Is it just me doing something wrong or are some options really missing from the desktop settings? There is no "Mandelbrot", no "Weather" and no "Globe". It works on Jaunty with KDE 4.3 from Kubuntu Backports PPA but not on "normal" Karmic install. Is there any solution?

Do you have package: plasma-wallpapers-addons

This package contains additional Plasma wallpapers shipped in the KDE 4
plasma addons module. Install it if you want a variety of wallpapers on your
plasma desktop.

This package is part of the KDE 4 plasma addons module.

It will install: plasma-wallpaper-mandelbrot, plasma-wallpaper-pattern, plasma-wallpaper-virus, plasma-wallpaper-marble, plasma-wallpaper-weather, etc...

I installed that but still cannot get the weather wallpaper to work... it finds my location via NOAA, but nothing happens...
