When one tries to share a folder in the file manager, clicking on the button nothing happens.
The only way I got it working is to install
samba and
kdenetwork-filesharing
manually with apt-get
After that it worked.
The connected clients are using nobody:nogroup and not the user they have got in with to the shared dir, so take this into account because they usually cannot do anything with the files there.
