Odd... Bug?

I have noticed that in karmic often newly extracted folders and files sometime stay invisible until computer is restarted but programs like kaffeine can see them fine. actually lately i havent noticed that anymore but today i deleted a folder and folder was still seeable when i hovered over downloads folder and when i hovered over deleted folder it crashed entire desktop which kde recovered in 10-15 seconds. Sry for not fileing or searching for such bug but i even dont know how to define it or what program to blame (dolphin?).

Btw. F5 should refresh folder view in dolphin, so no need to restart computer
