    9/13 update?

Can anyone confirm that the update problem with the black screen is gone and if I update my re-installed system I will be fine?

    The Usual...

...Pre-release versions of Karmic are NOT encouraged for anyone needing a stable system or for anyone who is not comfortable running into occasional, even frequent, breakage...

Every system is a bit different...

Can anyone confirm that the update problem with the black screen is gone and if I update my re-installed system I will be fine?
Here the only ( ) problem was with the jumping clock:
    Log of sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
    Wed Sep 16 11:09:56 2009
    ...
    tar: ./postinst: time stamp 2009-09-16 09:50:15 is 5082.686236161 s in the future
    tar: ./prerm: time stamp 2009-09-16 09:50:15 is 5082.68586841 s in the future
    tar: ./md5sums: time stamp 2009-09-16 09:50:37 is 5104.685653385 s in the future
    tar: ./control: time stamp 2009-09-16 09:50:36 is 5103.685567812 s in the future
    tar: .: time stamp 2009-09-16 09:50:37 is 5104.685522899 s in the future
    ...
but the fsck fixed that problem.

Now the Karmic is starting /1/ and working as you would expect with the alpha 6.
