After installing (fresh install) kubuntu 9.10 alpha 3 (kde 4.3 RC 3) I can't change the brightness of the screen.
I have tried through the shortcut keys, panel applet (battery monitor) and through the System Settings.
Lenovo 300 N100 with kubuntu 9.10 alpha 3, KDE 4.3 RC 3.

Other OSes (Ubuntu Hardy and Windows XP) installed on the same laptop can change the brightness.
Plus, it seems that all the fn keys on my laptop are not responding/allocated.
I really appreciate any help, including a solution to change the brightness through the command line.
