[solved]Karmic alpha3 / kde4.3 RC3 and kate

[Fintan]

After upgrading to day (last night) I noticed that kate does not run from lancelot.

Only from the search / krunner.
Typing kate gives 5 different ones of which only the "run kate" function works.

Any one else see this?

it runs fine from the terminal

I also noticed that adding klaunch (Kickoff) to the panel gives a broken widget box.

If you updated last night, it could be simply mixed RC2 and RC3 packages. I don't have your issues with a fully upgraded RC3.

I checked again and there was more to upgrade, now all is good in the hollow
