Broadcom drivers not showing up: what to do next?

    Hi all:

I've been trying to get my Broadcom wireless to work. I've gotten help from the French http://forum.kubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=401938"] forum[/url] and I've been diligently following the advice there even going to the provided link.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Braodcom drivers to show up in the Hardware drivers

In fact, I need some hand holding help to get the wireless working.

So what would I need to do next?

    thanks!
