Hi All,
Am having problems with Samba on 9.1 Karmic since upgrading from 9.04.
I can connect to shares on other machines on my network (either windoze 7 or Linux) without any problems at all.
What I really need to do is access shares on my main 9.1 karmic box from the other windoze/linux boxes. I have installed samba together with a package called GADMIN-SAMBA which has a fairly intuitive looking interface to set up the shares. ps -A indicates that samba is running, the folder icons in Dolphin have the little globe on them to show they are shared but the other computers on the network refuse to see then or even acknowledge the presence of the karmic box on the network.
With 9.04 it was never a problem, it just worked "out of the box".
Below is a listing of /etc/samba/samba.conf which looks ok to mr.
Any ideas ?
