very slow internet

    very slow internet

    Hi,
    I just did a fresh install of kubuntu 9.10 things seems to be fine but the internet is just very slow - it works but is just slow ( both wifi and ethernet connections ) When i load up firefox it takes about 2-3 min before a homepage loads. Can anyone help me out?

    Exactly the same here on 2 different pc's 32 as well as 64 bit. Removed IPv6 in both Thunderbird and Firefox - still slow

    Has anybody resolved this yet, or is it an unsolved problem with KK 9.10

      (SOLVED)Both firefox 3.5 and Konqueror VERy slow in 9.10?

      A simple search here in KFN on IPv6, and you both would have seen this.
      Windows no longer obstructs my view.
