Network manager for Fluxbox

Hi all,

I have just installed Kubuntu 9.10 on a laptop and the wireless connection is working fine through Network management found on the task bar. However I wish to use the Fluxbox window manager but cannot find how to start the wireless network connection from there.

I found examples of using network-admin and nm-applet but they both seem to be gnome programs. What is the command to run the Kubuntu network manager from within Fluxbox?

Maybe this should go into the networking section but I cannot see how to change it. Sorry.
