    Panel disappeared

Just installed Kubuntu 9.10. Everything worked fine. Did the recommended software updates. Still fine. Loaded up this morning, warned about bug fixes so loaded those.

I have now lost the panel at the bottom of the screen i.e the one with the KDE Application Launcher, USB connection indicator, etc.

How do I restore this (pretty crucial) panel?

    Thanks

do you still have the cashu (little icon top right in screen) if so click/right click it and add panel.

I dont remember if in 9.10 you can just right click the desktop and have a add panel option.....but maby

vinny: I've tried to 'Add Panel'. I get a bar at the top of the screen with 'Screen height' etc. If I 'Add Widget' the widget appears above the bar.

I can't see how to get the panel to to the bottom of the screen where I want it.

OK, I somehow must have accidentally clicked on the 'Screen Resize and Rotate' icon. Anyway, I'm back to normal with desktop panel (kicker) restored.
