[SOLVED] accents in Spanish keyboard. Kde 3.3.5 to 4.4

Hello everybody,

I continue resolving my problems with the last upgrade KDE 3.3.5 to 4.4. Now, my problem is related to keyboard. Before, I could type "canción" for example, but now, I cannot do it, the result is "canci'on" and it is not "canción".

The problem is only in the KDE applications, but in firefox, for example, works well.

The keyboard layout is latinoamerican and I verified it, keys such as ñ, @, {, } works correctly in the layout position.

Hi

You just need to go to System Settings, Regional and Language, Keyboard Layout, and add "es". You'll see a little icon in the System Tray, you click to switch back and force, but whenever it is set for Spanish, you can do the canción just dandy (I just did)

I have selected "es" and "lat" in keyboard layout. I have swiched between them and It doesn't work. I don't know what is the problem, because in KDE 3.3.5 the layout works ok, but when I upgrated it, it doesn't work.

this problem is only presented in KDE applications.

Problem (also present on Czech keyboard in all KDE and Qt applications) was solved today by update of Qt:
