Agree with dibl, if it were a "normal" error it would be consistent, but this 1 in 5 works is odd. Here the steps I would take:
1) do a manual disk check on every partition using a live CD/USB stick
If that doesn't yield a result:
2) rebuild initramfs
3) hope for the best
Note: item 3) is - as always in life - of the utmost importance
