Hi,
I just upgraded to KDE 4.4 Beta 2 (Yes, I know...
). Everything's working great except for the following issue.
When I try to open a folder in Dolphin (or Konqueror or Krusader) using kdesudo I just get a message that "The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly" and the relevant folder shows no contents. It doesn't make any difference if I use kubicle's root action service menu or run kdesudo dbus-launch dolphin (et al) from a terminal. Curiously this issue doesn't occur if I try to open trash:/ or applications:/ etc., only simple folders and on any partition.
This is a dist-upgrade from kde 4.3.4 on Karmic with a fresh ~/.kde.
I just wondered if this was a known issue, or whether anyone else has seen this? Or is it a bug affecting a minority of one
Regards,
Steve
