I installed Kubuntu 9.10 and Window 7 on my laptop (dell inspiron with Geforce 8400m gs) 1 month ago and everything seemed fine at that time. However, from last week, when on Window 7, system started to crash and after that, i used the warranty to change my mother board. I reinstalled Window 7 again and it worked fine. However, when i reinstalled kubuntu, the screen doesn't come out anything.

Note that the kubuntu logo and the process bar start to blink and after that it disappear. I know kubuntu is still running because i can hear the booting sound of kde4, but only the screen cannot load. However, system can work well with ubuntu 9.10 (live cd). Can anyone suggest the solution for this ?
