login required when running from USB key

I've created a boot able USB key with Kubuntu 9.10. But when I boot the USB key and choose run Kubuntu from this USB key. I'm prompted with a login screen for User name and Password. ?? I didn't set a PW or User when the key was created, so what it it supposed to be??

Try "jack" (without quotes) for both user name and password. I seem to remember that being the original setup from a live CD awhile ago. If it works you can go into your system and change it to whatever you like in Users and Groups. I suppose you already tried just hitting the Enter key?
